Our story

The Orthodox Hawaiian Iveron Icon Association (OHIIA), was established in 2012 with a singular goal; to help in the mission of the Wonderworking “Hawaiian” Iveron Icon of the Mother of God.

Our Pan-Orthodox non-profit foundation assists the Guardian of the Wonderworking Icon with the mission to bring this great miracle to all the churches and monasteries of our One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Orthodox Church, and to provide for the veneration of all believers.

This Holy Icon has changed the lives of countless individuals, through the Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the continued intercession of the Most holy Theotokos.

​Our Foundation's secondary charge is to build a memorial shrine (church) in Hawaii to honor the Mother of God, which will someday house this Wonderworking Icon.  Please consider helping us in this mission.
